National U21 Champion Andrew Rushton is to represent England as one of three players taking on the Netherlands in a European League match in Barrow-in-Furness on Tuesday 2nd November 2004.

Chesterfield’s Alan Cooke, the current No 1 and national champion will lead the side and Cleveland’s Paul Drinkhall, one of the most exciting youngsters to arrive on the English table tennis scene for years, will also make his senior debut. The Netherlands are one of the strongest teams in Europe and likely to field both Trinko Keen and Danny Heister who are both ranked in the world top 50.
